Transitions
As adults are keenly aware, life is all about coping with change.
It is human nature to be somewhat uncertain about change,
yet we might also be excited about it, at the same time.
To support resource students with making an effective and
successful change in educational placement, a thoughtful approach
- or a "Transition Plan" - is developed.
A diverse range of strategies and support may be offered,
depending on the transitional stage of the learner.
Elementary school to high school transitions
High school to post-secondary placements
Entering the Planning for Independence Program (PIP)
Exiting the Planning for Independence Program (PIP)
